We start by understanding your business needs, goals, and preferences. Then, we create a hiring map, which includes a job description and trial tasks. We screen candidates, organize interviews, and recommend the best fit. Once hired, we provide onboarding and training to ensure your assistant integrates smoothly into your business.
An Owner’s Assistant is specifically trained to support small business owners, particularly in construction, by juggling a variety of tasks across different business areas like project management, client communication, operations, and admin. They adapt to your specific needs, which may vary day-to-day.
On average, it takes around 30 days from the initial consultation to having a fully onboarded assistant. This includes mapping out the role for your company, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and setting up the assistant with the necessary tools. After 30 days, your assistant will be working with you full time while we provide roughly 90 days of ongoing training and support for you and your assistant.
We provide 90 days of weekly one-on-one training and onboarding support for your assistant. We also provide weekly group coaching sessions with you and your assistant to check-in with you both and ensure your expectations are being met and they are continuously improving in their role.
Having systems in place helps, but if you need help implementing specific systems, let’s talk. We have tools and systems for nearly everything contractors do.
